Rhythm and the sound of water belong to the earliest sensory impressions a human being encounters, long before memory, language, or form. In the program Water, these primordial elements are not merely evoked but reimagined, unfolding as a sonic Gesamtkunstwerk, an immersive environment in which sound becomes substance and perception itself is drawn into flux.

Dripping, rushing, flowing, surging, the music moves between states, shaping a landscape that is at once physical and metaphorical. What emerges is not only an auditory experience, but a layered perceptual field in which the listener is invited to navigate between immediacy and reflection, surface and depth.

In this extraordinary program, three percussionists step beyond the boundaries of traditional instrumentation. Water, in all its forms and behaviors, becomes both medium and instrument, resonating, resisting, transforming. Objects associated with it are recontextualized as sources of sound, dissolving the distinction between instrument and environment. What unfolds is a performative exploration of material, gesture, and resonance, a space where the elemental is made audible anew.
